We seek 4 Lecturers in Architecture 0.2FTE to join the Architecture Academic Portfolio of Programmes in the School of Design.The post holder might also be responsible for leading a Design Unit.
The Architecture portfolio team comprises leading practitioners from London and widely published research-active academics. Students have received international recognition receiving awards from the RIBA at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The programmes have unique relationships with industry employers, creating work experience opportunities for students and graduates.
The successful candidates will be inspirational Architectural Designers, have energy and passion as inspirational teachers, and be able to work well across multidisciplinary teams across undergraduate and /or postgraduate levels. They will also be excited to seek out interdisciplinary opportunities both within the UoG and externally and to agent, cultivate and engage with established and new networks. Together they will complement the current academic team within the architecture portfolio.
Most of the vacancy’s duties will involve teaching in various settings, including online and face-to-face lectures, seminars, tutorials, and the like; assessment; and the provision of pastoral and academic support to students. The successful candidate will contribute high-quality research in the field of Architecture; Contribute to the School's public engagement, network, and international profile.
